Three Springs Daytona Sex Offender Transition Program Highlighted on the Florida Capital Steps

Daytona, FL – April 23, 2009

The Daytona Sex Offender Transition program was highlighted in a presentation to the Senate Committee on Civil and Criminal Justice Appropriation chaired by Senator Crist from Hillsborough/Pasco Counties on April 20, 2009. The goal of the program is to provide youth with an independent living setting or intense treatment to facilitate family reunification.

Auldern Academy Students go to the Front of the Class with Harkness Table

When the Harkness Table arrived at Auldern Academy last year, it was placed in the classroom where history instruction takes place. “Teaching around the table has become a tremendous interactive experience. I have noticed that classroom debate has increased,” stated Chris Will who teaches World and US History, Economics, and Government.

Three Springs Announces Closure of New Dominion School Campus

Huntsville, AL – April 3, 2009

Today Three Springs announced plans to close its New Dominion campus located in Dillwyn, Virginia effective May 20, 2009. For the past 30 years the facility has provided year-round outdoor therapeutic programs for troubled teens and their families.

“This has been a difficult but very necessary decision,” said Mark Horner, Ph.D, VP of Private Programs. “Recent changes in the state’s referral model will drastically reduce enrollment in the program in the very near future.”

New Beginnings Receives Three Year CARF Accreditation
